Marmaris to Antalyia
What a Wonderful country Turkey is. Lovely friendly and helpful people and a beautiful coastline with so many protected bays to swim in. Choose between isolated free anchoring and stopping in a busy town. A lot of bays have at least one restaurant where food is reasonably priced.

Cold water bay is so called because the fresh water comes of of the mountain below sea level so when swimming you pass through hot and cold patches of water. Refreshing when it is very hot. The water is crystal clear and turquoise in colour. There is a wonderful walk from here to Old Kale over the mountain. The photo of the bay is from on the way up.

Kekova Roads is two stretches of water, one larger than the other, with many restaurants with jetties you can go alongside. Alternatively you can anchor in complete safety and visit the restaurants by tender.

The skipper
Gulets are the locally built wooden boats. They can be very large and some are very beautiful. To see the captains manoeuvre the big ones in small harbours is quite something. Especially when the Gulet is longer than the space between boats in the harbour.
