Experiences and adventures in 2004.
This year I have spent my time between Marmaris and Bodrum with most of the time Between Datça and Orhaniye where I have met many new friends and also met many friends from other parts of the Mediterranean that I have not seen for several years.
A yacht called Cockatoo had 'guests' on board for 2 weeks but after the first
week they had a fire in the engine room. I offered to take the guests on Lady C
for the remainder of their holiday. It was quite an experience and great fun. I
agreed to take them only if they self catered as I did not want the
responsibility of catering. In the end we all mucked in and it went well. It was
also my first experience of naturism as they were nudists. I was quite pleased
that it was quite natural and not sexual at all.
I spent two weeks cruising with another Fleur de Lys which was the prototype one launched in 1960. They had a French couple on board who had chartered it and blow me they were also naturists. Ce la vie. We may cruise together again next year if they get a large party of guests. Should be fun again.

I joined up with yacht, Pallas Athena, who I met 2 years ago, and cruised with them for a couple of weeks. they are Germans but speak wonderful English, as do most Germans and Dutch. They are doctors and spent 10 years in Africa with the doctors abroad scheme.

Two of my friends have bought houses in Turkey so that meant the inevitable BBQ's at their houses which was great fun.
